The idea for Vinny’s Vintage was formulated after the owner and founder, Daniel Salani, kept noticing an increasing number of younger generations (specifically Gen Z), purchasing and using turntables and vinyl records. This got Daniel thinking about the amount of unused pieces of media in the world that would be deemed “outdated” by modern standards. There are countless people with vinyl, movie, or TV collections that do nothing but collect dust as their technology is no longer as relevant as it once was. Instead of letting all these pieces of media go to waste, Daniel believed they could be repurposed and help to revitalize a market that has mostly diminished.
